Dr. Stephen Doudna II

“Hello, I am Dr. Stephen Doudna. I am the father of a Chiropractor, the son of a chiropractor, and the grandson of a chiropractor. Yes, chiropractic is in my blood! I am a chiropractor because I want to offer my patients true health care by looking for the cause of their health issues instead of masking their symptoms with harmful drugs and surgeries.

I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1988, opened my practice March 6th, 1989, and have had the privilege of meeting and treating some of the nicest people I’ve ever met! Now, 32 years later, I have the privilege to be working with my son, Dr. Dalton Doudna, who joined the practice in August of 2020!

It is our desire to help the people that through our door achieve their full potential by helping them achieve optimal health physically, mentally, and spiritually through chiropractic adjustments, coaching and encouragement. Thank you for visiting our site and trusting us with your health!”

Dr. Dalton Doudna, DC

Dr. Dalton grew up and went to college in Ohio where he received his Physical Therapist Assistant degree off of a scholarship at Zane State College in 2012. He then completed his pre-requisite coursework at Ohio University Zanesville. In the Fall of 2013, he moved to Davenport, Iowa to start school at Palmer College of Chiropractic. While taking classes for his doctorate degree, he completed the remaining courses to receive his bachelor’s of science and graduated Palmer in February, 2017.

During his time at Palmer, Dr. Dalton took extra courses to be certified in other areas such as extremity adjusting, kinesiotaping techniques, and a sports rehab therapy known as FDM or Fascial Distortion Model. He is also trained in activator and flexion/distraction techniques. He is also thoroughly trained in therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and cold laser.

Coming from a family of chiropractors who all practice the same technique as Dr. Dalton, he believes that there’s nothing more powerful to impact human health than a specific, chiropractic adjustment. “I grew up in a family that did all their adjusting by hand. This is my preferred way of adjusting but I wanted to have as many tools in my toolbox as possible to treat every patient the way they needed to be treated.” For that reason, Dr. Dalton completed the extra certifications to have more options for helping every patient that walks through the door.
